Default Led upgrade on 1201's

I have a small question about the led upgrade kit for the 1201's.
I bought 3 kits from audioclassics, and did the upgrade.I noticed that the blue light is not the same sort of blue you have on the other amps like the 501's or the 252's, etc...It's more purple.
Are there among the members others, who noticed the same thing, or did I do something wrong???

I haven't done it but interested in the responses here. Is there any tutorial of how to change to LED's? Have been hesitant to do it as the amps are so dern heavy to move around.

You must be a handy Harry to do the thing, but once you've done it, a piece of cake

Today I installed an LED kit from AudioClassics in an MC352 -- being an avid DIY'er (more like Tim the Toolman), I figured I could handle it, but there were a few times during the process that I began to wonder. The directions that came with the kit sometimes got the color of wires wrong and while the last third of the directions were probably clear to an expert, they left some clarity in question with me. BUT -- Ryan at AudioClassics provided the necessary support to finish up and he was glad to help by phone. The first LED install took four hours since I make a digital photo of each step for reference (my memory is not getting better with age) but IF I were to install another one right now, it would take an hour, tops.

I'm not sure of all the models, etc. but I think the colors can be adjusted in the newer amps.

How about the LED kit for the preamp? I've got a C39 that is to be serviced and install the LED's.

I plan on doing my MR85. From the looks of the instructions it should take under an hour, including removal and reinstallation back into the system. Just about 8-10 screws, one stand-off, 7-8 lights, a power lead and one ground that gets attached to one of the screws.
