Would you participate in a raffle for a $6k McIntosh gift certificate?

The goal would be to sell a relatively low number of raffle tickets, say 125 at $40 each (this would be the minimum number needed), which would cover the cost of the gift certificate. Any additional revenue that is generated could be donated to AA for maintenance and bandwidth costs or to charity.

I'm just curious to know if we would have enough participation to even pull something like this off. I figure we would have to sell at least 100 tickets in the $40 to $60 range to make it work.

Of course, this assumes that this is a legitimate activity for AA to sponsor and organize. Then there's the logistics as well - I've seen these types of raffles done in reverse, meaning the last ticket pulled is the winner (as opposed to the first).

Let me know what you think by telling me how many tickets you'd buy, assuming tickets are $40 each.
