Yes, the McIntosh packaging is like the equipment, a work of art. The brand new gear will have the new electronic smell that will put a smile on your face and music to your ears. Looking forward to all the pix.

Thanks for the photos, your set up is beautiful, love the 601's. I agree my 601s sounded great from the start also. Glad to see that everything fit in your RDX... Congrats and enjoy!

jwhite613,Trek737,TommyC,chessman,Volks,F1man...Thank you for kind words. I was listening till 3am this morning and sofar my impression is so so positive....remind me when I add a second MC275 on my system .... I was hit by music...and as Bob Marley said "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain."

So far that's how I feel on my MC601's.... I was playing few cd's last night .
Most stunning CD was track 11(Drum Improvisation) was so impressive....there were nothing else in my room only me and him who plays drum....

Anyway I will update with impression next few days.

What a great birthday present to yourself! Just curious, what did you do with the MC275's?
