Hi Jerome,

What model, A or B? With all updates? That's a great price though.

You can always find another 108 to get a monoblock setup!

I know Adam.
It is sold by a very well known dealer in Brussels, "Noir et Blanc".
You believe that the amp could have a failure ?

The ad says that it is the XLR version, so the B.

No sorry, it could be a A.

Anyway, I just discovered that the CTH 8550 is much more powerful than the NHB108. This could explain why we can find some NHB108 second hand and almost never a CTH 8550. I'm not talking aboit the sound quality of course! The pre / power combo surely sounds better than the integrated, but if one needs power, the integrated may be a better option....

Both A and B have XLR inputs.

The difference is the version B now features a built-in DC compensation circuit. In order to fully benefit from total lack of any overall negative feedback, you can disable this circuit. Version B also has an XLR transformer with many more feet of wire in the circuit for a true balanced input. Version A is said to have a purer, better sound because there is less in the signal path.
