Dave.......I hear you. Don't let them bend you over the table. You paid good money for your Marantz player. It is a shame it has been such a headache for you. Hearing about a problem is one thing, hearing about multiple problems, and crappy responses is a bad thing. In this day and age Marantz, and every other manufacturer for that matter, should understand that word travels very fast, and can impact the buying decisions of many people in a big way. I hope they do the right thing by you.

Today I spoke with Marantz USA and the news was good! They are going to replace my SA11 with a new one at no charge. The new one will arrive soon. Thank you Marantz and to those who helped see this through.
