Default Got the Ref gear in for review and it's very nice...
Just thought I'd share.

I've got the 300 watt monos, along with the SACD player and preamp. Great gear, very impressive. Had a nice chat with the folks at Marantz the other day.

They couldn't really mention, but there is more to come soon in the reference line..

I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Actually, when I spoke to the people at Marantz last week, I found out that they never really left. Much like Luxman, they kept making very high end gear in Japan, but pulled out of the US market with it in the 90's, with the home theater explosion.

Much like McIntosh, the same engineers (and their descendants) that built the legendary Marantz gear we grew up with are still going strong.

They've just been able to carve a niche back out in the US again for the last five years. They also have some new goodies on the way that they will be sharing soon.

Maybe a new modernized version of the 10B tube tuner would be in order?
Keep it retro too with the analog tuning dial but include HD and have XLR connections on the back panel with at least one digital input.
