Concerning depreciation, it seems Mac holds their value a little better than most. But an example can be found to support the opposite too I suppose.

The last I saw at the dealer the Krell 402 was about $16k. People can and do put just about anything down for the Original price. Also, unless the prices went up in January, weren't the 2301's and 1.2ks listed at $22k?

$600 hardly get s you a respectable BR player. Get the Oppo, and the remaining monies to a superb SIM2 projector. Thats the way to go!
