As far as quickness, tight, etc, maybe that depends on the song being auditioned. 1 song played, imo the bass was not tight, it sounded loose but it was deep and hard. It was just that song and that instrument though. For the price, I agree the Wison's win everytime.....No contest!!!!
I guess that is why they make different speakers. I have spent more time listening to the Maxx 3's and they just do nothing for me. They do nothing wrong but are not involving. I wouldn't buy the Krell's either, I can't get by the look and I it's not the aluminum that bothers me.

I agree, the looks killed it for me. I still don't think there worth the price of admission. Especially at that price range. I need to get up there and listen to the Maxx 3's. been real curious how they sound and compare to the sasha's and mac speakers he has.

I have spent hours listening to these speakers in an all EVO system, 600's driving them and it was probably the room(no treatments and plenty of windows) and how close they were to the wall but the Mids were excellent but the bass was loose and distracting. I was shocked because I have been impressed with a pair of Krell speakers in the past and at the Modulari's price range I was expecting perfection.
