This looks very similiar to the ALK Trachorn, except the adapter. The adapter extends the horn quite a bit more than the DIY, ALK and other wood horns.
This is from a 1950's Khorn I found in another thread. Any advantage to the deeper throat?

Similar as in being made out of wood, closer to a radial horn . It's evident that its not your typical tractrix taken from the popular calculator. I was curious why they extended the horn further constricting the throat.

JC is a well-respected member of the Klipsch Community and his advice is invaluable!
I just finished converting my Cornwalls to Cornscalas and I changed over to the Fastrac horn after first trying an outboard K-400. There is no comparison. The warmth and clarity of the wooden horn was a big improvement. Trying to build a better mousetrap I then built new X-overs using a modified ALK Universal design. This too made a significant improvement in both clarity and imaging. I also went with the Crites tweeter, which I like very much for the price. Many K-horn owners have switched to the Beyma but I would have to go outboard to do that so that is why I stuck with the Crites tweets. The most dramatic change was the horn however. Have fun! Herb |

Herb.
Thanks for the compliment. The Cornscala is the most cost effective way I know to bring great bass with a wonderful midrange of a horn. The Pure Tractrix horns are really hard to beat. I myself have some fastracs sitting here begging to go into some la scala tops with a Crites tweeter. I have full appreciation for the Klipsch Heritage line. Even in their "updated" series of heritage....the mid horn was kept exponential and unchanged from PWK's original designs......kept that way for sonic signature and for respect of the master. I have done this time and time again....placed a pure tractrix horn in the mix for mids. Very hard to beat really. jc
