Default To Gotham or not to Gotham, that is the question.
I wan't a Gotham. In fact I want 2 Gothams. Oh, the heck the with it. One Gotham in every corner, that's 4 Gothams.

Ok, back to reality.

My question is this, is one Gotham better than two 113's for serious musicality?

What might be the difference for two channel music? It makes sense to go with dual subs but I suspect there might be advantages and disadvantages with both.

Remember, this is for 95% two channel music. Hard and soft rock, contemporary folk, and small bit of jazz.

Two Gothams are out of the question (Ivan). So don't even suggest it.

I may be best qualified to answer this. I would definitely go with a pair of F113's over a single Gotham.

When I first installed my single Gotham a few years ago in Florida, it begged for a second.

I could have easily put a pair of Gothams in my 2-Channel room, but opted for a pair of F113's. I know I made the right choice.

By the way Ivan, I saw a thread where you were designing some sub stands. Did you get them? Are there photos?

Just to put my $0.02 in - Gotham's were discussed here, and I do believe that the dual Gotham setup won out.

However a few F113's would certainly foot the bill without shredding the wallet, and leave you very, very happy. (when fundage appears, it's probably going to be what I move to, as well)

Speaking to JLA guys the other day they were particularly proud of the F212.

I use two F112's myself but may upgrade to dual F212's for the theater.
