:How did everyone choose which modle to fit their system? did you demo them either in home or dealer?

Did you go to a larger sub, or smaller to do a double? I went with the f110 since I dont have a large room, and I plan on putting one each behind my main speakers.

I am just really impressed how the JL audio subs just sound so clean over imo all over subs.

ltleo.......I have had many different subwoofers through the years, all the way up to a pair of powered 15 inch models. I still have four subwoofer, a McIntosh, a Velodyne, a JL Audio, and a JBL, each in a different sound system.

I chose the JL Audio Fathom f113 because I wanted a 13" subwoofer with their larger amp. I wanted to be able to move plenty of air, and dig deep. Low frequency bass waves are huge, and it takes a big driver to move enough air to create the lowest frequencies. That's why I chose the f113.

I listened to Velodyne, Paradigm, and JBL ( I owned a JBL) and felt that the JL performed the best.

I was originally was going to go with the 110 model, and choose to go bigger and get the 112 model.
