I read in the man. with the f110 that it says do not use any other power cord with these subs. This might be a stupid question, cause I am not a big sub person, but should this be followed?

If we have high end power cords, such as wireworld, audience, and kubala, would that be ok?

What is so special about the F112 stock power cord? my B&W 855 came with a stock black power cord. I was surprised to see its not grounded plug. When you pay $2,000+ for a sub I guess I would expect a 3 prong cord. I guess it's not required. I still swapped it out with a hi-end power cord that has a grounded outlet although the ground isn't applied to the sub input. At lest is accepts the cable.

great. I just didnt want to go againts what the mdf stated. Good I will put some of my extra power cords to use. Though I am a little confused, this sub came with a three prong cord. so I am not sure cry was speaking about

On the back of my B&W sub (the power outlet) only has 2 prongs. no grounded outlet. Kinda strange but it works so im good. just surprised it wasn't a grounded 3 prong plug on the rear of my sub.

ltleo.......My Fathom f113 works great with a two meter Wireworld Silver Electra power cable. It hasn't shot sparks or smoke yet.
