How much extra was the adapter for that? Do you have it plugged into a Soloist SE or a PPP?

I use the Kimber PK10 Palladian on my Sonic Care toothbrush. Changed the connectors to the AG version for whiter teeth.

Default I read the instruction book and obeyed every word . . . .

I was so glad to see this thread. I did read the manual and it very distinctly said not to use any power cord except the one furnished. I had no idea why the company would specify what cord to use, but I assumed it was a safety issue or something esoteric or who knows what . . Maybe the company spent millions of dollars to find a cord that perfectly matched their sub woofer and nothing else would ever do. . . . . .

Upon reading the posts, however, I went to the large storage container which holds extra wires, cords, etc. and pulled out a real oldie but goodie. . . a Custom Power Cord Company - Top Gun HCF 2 - stiff as a board, about an inch thick but just the right length for my new F-112. I immediately installed it.

I couldn't believe the change - the bass was fuller, tighter and more well defined. The low bass musical tones were immediately more in keeping with the sound of the instrument they reproduced. An upright bass sounded much more musical, drums were more lifelike.

What a difference a power cord makes. . . . .

Julian.......Same exact experience here. I was most impressed when I first installed two meter Wireworld Silver Electra power cords on my MC501 amps. It wasn't subtle, it was a major improvement that took the bass frequencies to an entire new level of texture and detail. That's when I became a believer. Wireworld Silver Electra power cables power everything in my two channel tube system, and everything in my main system except the tuner. Good stuff.

Julian and Dan... I too could not believe the difference on the MC501's. I was quite skeptical that a power cord would do anything better, but after I won a pair from AA and Ivan that changed. After some time listening with the stock cord and then switching to the Wireworld Aurora, wow! I have to say it was fuller and more musical as mentioned earlier. I had my wife listen as well and she noted the bass had more presence in the song. My f112 has the stock power cord currently, but that will change...

Default What is a wireworld?

I just bought my first Wireworld cable - a pair of six meter balanced eclipse interconnects on Audiogon - to use with my F-112 sub. At this point, I am mightily impressed with the build quality and tonality.

All of my current power cords (except the top gun connected to the F-112) are Virtual Dynamics Nite (I have about 15 of the things).

I probably have too much invested to make a change. But, I am getting more and more interested in what I read about the Wireworld stuff. Is it really that good?
