I had tried 2 different subs. in my 2 channel system and could never really get the 2 to sync. well. At low volumes the sub. would sound fine but at louder listening levels the sub. always sounded boomy. I had resigned myself to thinking that without a dedicate crossover my best bet was to merely upgrade my speakers. This sub. I am using now has me taking a pause and thinking maybe I don't need to upgrade (atleast for now) I say for now because the nature of this hobby is there is always something better ..... I am very happy with the midrange and high's from the SF cremona and the bass from the cremona/JLf112.

David.......I just read your signature lines. There's been quite a bit of growth going on this past year, and looking good I might add. Unfortunately, I see you are still chocking the main system power to death with you "beloved" Panamax door-stop. The PS Audio Power Plant Premier will open your system up, and your ears, too. You are missing out, big time. Ivan can make it happen for you, and more reasonable than you might imagine. Don't chock your system's power and dynamics any longer.

I really suggest that he try some aftermarket power cords...

David, your system is at a level where you will definitely notice a difference.

Dan is definitely on the Master's payroll My amps are plugged directly into a dedicated line which is about 5 feet long to the fuse box. My Panamax has the pre amp, MCD500, sonos and internet router/cable modem plugged into it. I have zero noise so I do not feel that I need the PS audio surge protector.

Do yourself a favor David, pull the Panamax out of your system. It degrades performance for a fact.
