Those speakers remind me of a female anatomy diagram from a medical textbook.

Brian.......Great link. If cost were no object, and JBL was going in my theater, (actually, JBL is in my theater) the K2 S9800SE WG would be my choice over the JBL Synthesis 1400 Array, but at under $12K a pair, the JBL Synthesis 1400 Array represents a fantastic value.

Would like to hear some of the new JBL's. As far as value the LaScala II's at $6K a pair is hard to beat. Not that I'm biased at all...

I recently bought back the 1982 walnut Belle Klipsch pair that I sold a couple of years ago. I loved those horns and I sold them only on the condition that the buyer give me first refusal when and if he sold them.
I love my "audiophile" system but Horns, Tubes, and Rock have a way of getting your juices flowing. I've never had a listening session with horns that didn't wind up at >100db at some point

Had Klipschorns for 10 years. My biggest audio regret is selling them and no longer having a room with the corners necessary to replace them. Also owned Cornwalls, LaScalas and Heresy's at one point or another. PWK knew how to make a speaker that sounded like live music.

Don't ask me to explain why I sold any of them, because in retrospect, it makes no sense, even to me. Sometime the urge to try "new things" is just misguided. It's the old story of "if I only knew then what I know now".

Kevin.......The grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence.
