Actually it was the Finn class for Ben Ainslie. A dinghy with a huge walloping sail; not many home comforts there. An expected result for the Roots Rockar's man, but pleasing none the less.

Basic--starring John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson. Basically awful.

* Click on it if you wannit! ...It was fun to revisit, and it has several great elements going for it.
...Not perfect (in particular the plot), but lots of fun nonetheless. IMPO

By the way; over three hours! ...But it floats very well.

---Howard Robard Hughes was a very special character; excessive maladive, and sky visionary.

It's a good flick from Marty, but the picture (on Blu) with its color palette is bluish oversaturated (not to my particular taste).
And the sound, unfortunately is highly compressed DD+ audio (at only 640 Kbps).
And IMO that's where Marty is missing the boat (picture & sound quality).

But that ain't the first time that Mr. Scorsese made mistakes over mistakes in its movies. ...And for his entire career! ...Starting with 'Mean Streets' to the latest Blu-ray transfer of 'The Color of Money'.

In the days of DVDs Marty was missing the boat with some non-anamorphic DVD transfers, including that last one mentioned above.

For a guy having an important role as a Film preservationist, and looking for the best quality picture & sound wise, Marty simply doesn't have it!
I can enumerate several examples where he just kept contradicting himself for a very long period of time.

But that's Martin Scorsese anyway; the man with multiple facades ...

And then, he directed some of the greatest films. ...Just not the best technical quality though.
...The guy has still some' to learn (in my book and IMO).

'The Aviator' is OK, but it could have been much better.
And Leonardo DiCaprio was not the best choice IMO. ...Same for Cate Blanchett.

And that is my

P.S. You can click on the picture cover from above if you like.

Meeting Evil starring Samuel L. Jackson. Utter garbage. He either needed money to buy another home or lost a bet is all I can figure.
