Default Denon & McIntosh relationship

In the past 24 hours, in trying to catch up with whats happening here I've read a lot of comments on similarities or tech sharing between these two companies. I was wondering if anyone could point me to some reading material on this subject. I'm really close to buying my very first piece of McIntosh gear, the MCD500 and would like to catch up on as much behind the scenes information as possible.

Thanks for any help, and thanks for all the info collected so far - it's been a blast catching up

Thanks klipschfan - I was aware of their being owned by the same parent company (I should have stated this) - I was more curious about any tech sharing, design or otherwise shared between them, if their isn't anything on this - that's ok. Just trying to absorb all I can.

Could always call the McFactory, might as well ask at the source.

Everything in the MCD500, power supplies, audio section, feature set, programing and DACs are unique. We use a sourced transport.

Thanks,
Ron-C

Thanks for the follow up on this Ron, not that I would gawk at tech sharing - I am happy to hear it's uniquely yours

There is no comparison of the MCD-500 to anything Denon makes. This player is getting "World Class Reviews"! Ron C is correct on what the player has. If you purchase it you will have one of the best CD players ever made! Enjoy
