dirtbag.......This is great news. Being a member of Audio Aficionado, and being able to contact James directly has been worth your association here. This is a tremendous benefit.

If I may be so bold, perhaps becoming an AA Subscriber, and helping support this great audio forum might be something you may be interested in now. It's up to you, of course. The modest Subscriber fee goes a long ways to support everything that's required to maintain Audio Aficionado, and being a Subscriber adds many benefits to your AA experience. The red Subscriber banner would look good under your name.

Well, the B100 has finally arrived.
For the last 2 months I have been using a Cambridge Azur 840 integrated and to say the Bryston is better is a huge understatement. Tight controlled bass while the Cambridge was fat and bloomy. Detail beyond belief and everything about the sound is incredible. I bought it to replace a Mac MA6500 and although the sounds are quite different, the Bryston is really a step up from the Mac. If there is a negative it might be that it leans toward the bright side, but I'll put some time on it before I make a true judgement.
And the built-in Dac has even helped my Sat tv music channels sound great.
They didn't ship the remote I ordered but I can live without that for now.

It was definitely worth the wait.

Not too many companies take care of their customers like James Tanner does.

A couple of years ago I had a problem with a brand new Bryston item I received that did not power up. James spoke with me personally from his home that day and made sure everything was taken care of as quickly as humanly possible.

Ive always liked the B100.........a very fast-tight-detailed Int Amp indeed. If you find it a tad bright.....make sure your using decent cables and like you said....break it in.Setup correctly it should not sound bright, but it should sound transparent and very lively.

I took an amp over to their service depot / factory a couple of years ago. Walked in with it, Cam stopped a guy on the bench, gave him my amp, said fix it, gave me a tour in the meantime, less than an hour later I walked out problem solved. It was incredible, I will never forget that, Greg

I'm using a Kimber Kable Hawkeye digital coax from a Sonos 90, so cables shouldn't be an issue. I'll let it break in before I try any changes.
Thanks
