Thanks jdandy,I too will be interested in Masterlu's comments with the BDA-1 in his system(wow).

OK, well the BDA-1 finally arrived today, at about 6:30 PM.

I only have about 1 hour of listening in, but so far it's very nice.

If it gets better from here, after a little break in time, then I will definitely be very pleased.

Very musical sound, and more depth to the music, with a small improvement in the clarity, then my PS Audio DAC.

I will report back in a few days and post a picture of my new baby.

Congratulations, it does get better, especially after cycling through your tunes it becomes way more apparent. Did you get the Br2 remote option. The Br2 is really handy with the bda1, it even controls laptop using foobar/usb.

I did not get the remote, but perhaps I will later.
