It is just me, but I find with a really good system, I have no need for a sub or cc. But then, I love A/V on a super 2channel system.

cc is good for multiple listening spots. If it is just you, then you can remux c to l and r.

lfe on the other hand, probably can't be managed by even good audiophile speakers. We're talking 5-20hz, most good speakers barely manage to make it to 20hz.

music and movies sources are different.

Yes, they are different. But still, I do not miss that ultra deep 5-20hz, when the 20-35hz is so outstanding.
