Very unusual looking-not surprising from B&W. It looks nice though...and I'm sure it sounds very good.

Dan, I haven't heard anyone state where it's manufactured, but knowing what I do about my 2-year-old 802Ds doubt that these would be manufactured in China. B&W does manufacture some of their lower range speakers in China.

Jim.......Thank you. I had heard that some of B&W's manufacturing had shifted to China. I just wasn't sure if that included this new 802 Diamond.

They recently closed their manufacturing ops for some of the older 8 series in Scandinavia and pulled that tooling into the UK. The cabinets on the 8 Series are pretty complicated. You are correct they have moved a lot if not all of their lower end models to Asia.

The quality of the Von Schweikerts I owned that were made in China were second to none.
