When I had 802d's I did not point them directly at the seating position. They were toed in but I preferred the sound when they were pointed about half way between straight ahead and the seating position.

I don't have B&W speakers, I have JMlab. I used two laser pointers to set up the speakers. I turned them so that the two lasers cross at my listening position. The results are very good. The imaging is rock solid and the speakers seem to disapear. I have a CD test track that plays seven drums across the soundstage to help with imaging setup.

Unless you have a speaker with poor dispersion that needs to be toed in, there is no right answer.

Experiment and do what sounds best to you.
