My current kit (minus images):

Amp: McIntosh MC 252
Preamp: McIntosh C45
CD/DVD: McIntosh MVP-861
DAC: Benchmark DAC-1/USB
Digital: Wadia iTransport
Speakers: 805D's
Interconnects: MIT Balanced
Speaker Cables: MIT Shotgun 3.3 (bi-wired)
Turntable: Rega P-1
Panamax Power Conditioner

As soon as delivery and <space> are attained the 802D's.

What type of room/spacing do I need to have? We live in a loft like environment; and with hopes that our next move will allow for a dedicated listening space.

Thank you guys for your input... my delayed responses are not indicative of my gratitude.

Congrats!

Somebody correct me, but I think you need 5 posts before you can post a photo.

I've got to imagine that the 802s will fill a loft well beyond the 805s...

Wow, that is surprising if they are packaged in the same manner as the 802D's. They would almost have to run the forks of a hi-lo into the box to get near the speakers.

I am on my 2nd week with my gloss black 802 Diamonds. Only have about 30 hours on them, but sometimes the bass slam is stunning. Also love the transparency and seemless intergration between the tweet's and mids. For the price, these speakers are a 'freggin' huge bargin
