I like the new Focals but as you note the new 802 Series Diamond is a bargain in my opinion.

Heard the new 802 at a manufacturer's demo this week and it sounded quite good, but being a dealer event made any serious comparison not really possible. That being said, how can you not enjoy a speaker of that caliber driven by McIntosh MC501s and a McIntosh C500T with a MCD500 as a source?
